É difícil determinar exatamente quem tem sido o disseminador de frases falsas sobre o ateísmo: os pastores incultos e histéricos, os militantes iletrados, a malta de analfabetos secundários ou os departamentos do estado. Todas as forças reacionárias se uniram em um clamor de preconceitos religiosos contra os ateus.

Why am I not christian

A crença de que é preciso utilizar uma linguagem de parquinho para atingir os estratos mais pobres do Brasil não se sustenta mais ou se ampara é para perpetuar a ignorância e a miséria. Os formadores de opinião do jornalismo de assessoria da bandidagem querem que o carente de instrução não desenvolva o pensamento crítico e não adquira novos vocabulários.

A esquerda não deve assumir valores religiosos. Esse é um dos pilares do partido como vanguarda. O trabalhador consciente e moderno (figura muito rara de encontrar na periferia do capitalismo), educado em termos de conhecimento cientifico afasta de si os preconceitos religiosos e todo tipo de ilusão. A fé na vida além túmulo fica a disposição dos charlatões e não de trabalhadores responsáveis.

"Falar pela gramática da bíblia" serve para garantir os estratos inferiores afastados da concepção do mundo científica, no brejo das almas. A religião não tem nada o que ensinar e muito menos "organiza um entendimento". Crente não estuda metafísica. E isso é tão verdadeiro que os religiosos continuam cometendo todo tipo de crime e delito.

Os firewalls da fé podem gritar e tremer o dia inteiro, mas o marxismo continuará a ser fonte de inspiração do mundo. O materialismo histórico está longe do esgotamento. Na periferia do capitalismo, a situação do intelectual só pode ser incômoda e desconfortável em razão da própria carência de estrutura. O que existe no Brasil é uma prática anti-intelectual. A balela mitológica do "coração contra a cabeça" se sustenta no discurso preconceituoso dos religiosos iletrados. A apologética de Deus contra a história e outras lorotas deixa transparecer com muita clareza o caráter reacionário do subdesenvolvido. É a expressão de uma atitude política retrógrada. Por isso o intelectual é mais necessário do que nunca para dissolver a consciência alienada e as mentiras teológicas. O intelectual pode ser desprovido de poder mas não está desprovido das armas da crítica.
